P. Joris Roos

I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at UMass Lowell.

I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Bonn, advised by Christoph Thiele. Before arriving at UML, I was a Van Vleck Visiting Assistant Professor at UW Madison. I also spent a year at the University of Edinburgh as a Whittaker Research Fellow.

I work in harmonic analysis. I'm also interested in Lean and computer-assisted proofs.
